Local 120 Apprentices Take First Place In Regional Contest

Two apprentices from Cleveland’s Pipefitters Local 120 took first place in competition at the 2015 UA Regional Apprenticeship Contest held in Indianapolis earlier this month.

Apprentices Jim Primozic and Brian Price proved to be the region’s best of the best in the Pipefitting and Sprinklerfitting trades, respectively. The two displayed the best craftsmanship to go along with high scores on their written examination.

By producing two regional titles, Local 120 was also able to prove its JATC as one of the leading training facilities in the region, with both highly-skilled, effective instructors and a dedicated group of apprentices.

The victories by Primozic and Price ensure both men will be taking a trip to the National Championships, which will be held in Ann Arbor, Mich. in August.

The Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council congratulates Jim Primozic and Brian Price on a job well done and wishes them the best during the next and final round of competition!
